This isn’t the kind of product you want to try and save money on.

Can I At Least Juice My McNuggets?

No you may not. But here’s a partial list of items to pick up at the grocery store when fasting on juice:

  • Apples (add them to pretty much any recipe)
  • Cucumber (make sure to remove the waxy outer layer)
  • Carrots
  • Celery
  • Spinach (so good for you!)
  • Strawberries
  • Lettuce
  • Cilantro and other herbs

There are countless combinations of vegetables and fruits that you can toss into your juicer. Try picking up a recipe book at a local bookstore or mix together different combinations to see what works best for you.

  1. I am currently on a 90 day juice fast, And was just curious as so what kind of effect juicing has on a menstruation. I am NOT pregnant, but have lost 18 lbs in 11 days. And was wondering if the rapid weight loss could have an effect on me not having my “monthly” . I have been on time the last 3 months, although having an irregular period in the PAST prior to BC was not uncommon for me. I am just worried.

    • Only for the short term. Then you`ll actually gain more wehigt. When you deprive your body of too many calories suddenly like that, your brain thinks you`re starving. So it releases messages to your body to burn muscle for energy instead of fat. (So yes, you`re losing wehigt ) But muscle tissue is the number one calorie burner in your body, so by losing muscle you`re actually building a body that burns fewer calories and gets fatter easier. (THAT`S BAD.)Find a healthy dieting website that will let you enter your age, sex, height, and wehigt and then tell you how many calories you should eat per day to either maintain your wehigt or lose wehigt. Extreme low calorie diets like you described are actually very bad for your health and make you gain back more wehigt later. You didn`t gain all that wehigt in a week, don`t expect to take it off that fast if you want to keep it off. Diet AND exercise are the way to go.
